Self-portrait (written work in preparation for the trip to France)
Hello! My name is Trine I’m an 18 year old girl who lives together with both of my parents and our two dogs. I also have an elder brother but he doesn’t live at home anymore. At the moment and in the next two years I’m in the French line at Vordingborg Gymnasium. The reason why I have chosen this line is because I think French is a beautiful and interesting language, which I have always wanted to learn, but I haven’t had the opportunity until now. When I’m not in school I like to hang out with my friends, go to cafés and to the cinema and shop. I don’t have a “real” spare time interest but sometimes I play tennis together with one of my friends. Exchanges programs aren’t a new thing for me, because I have already been on two language trips one in England two years ago and this summer I actually went to France for two weeks to study French. I think it is great and exciting to travel in these ways, because it gives you the opportunity to learn more about a language and the country’s culture. I’m really looking forward to the exchange programme. I hope I will have a good and exciting trip and maybe also improve my French skills. Yours sincerely, Trine.
