Hello…
My name is Therese. I’m a seventeen-year-old girl. I am a student at Vordingborg High School, where I started last summer and have two years left. My main subjects are French, English, Danish, Art, History and Social studies. Beside that, I have other subjects. I live on an island south of Zealand, where the city Vordingborg is, called Falster. Falster is the southernmost part of Denmark. But I live in the northern part of the island, in a town with three thousand inhabitants called Nr.Alslev. From Nr.Alslev to Vordingborg it is about fifteen kilometres, so I travel with the train every day. In my spare time I like doing a lot of things. I play the piano, which I have done for a couple of years. I have got two jobs, one in a swimming bath where I sell the tickets, and one where I clean. When it’s winter I also help a friend of mine teaching children Volleyball. So when I’ve finally got some time of my own, I like listening to great music, watching movies, painting and spending time with my family, friends and my beloved cat. I live with both of my parents and I have got an older sister, who I sometimes see in the weekends, because she doesn’t live at home anymore. I have been to France a couple of times in some of my holidays but never in Millau so I am looking forward to the trip in the fall. I hope to spend a great time with you and hopefully experience many exciting things, and maybe even learn to speak a little more French. Yours sincerely, Therese
