A bit about myself Hi there, les francais! My name is Niklas Destremau and I am 16 years old. I have a little brother, Loïc, and he is 14 years old. We live with my separated parents, Ellen and Xavier here in Vordingborg. I love to play and listen to music, it’s actually what my life is based on. I mostly play drums, but sometimes I play guitar and bass. I am a drummer in two bands; a rock band and a funky-party band. Besides music I like sport such as handball, football (Allez les bleus!!) and volley. Note that I am French and therefore I am with the French football team all the way ;-)! As you might have guessed, I go to school at Vordingborg Gymnasium in 2. M. So every day from 8.00 to 15.00 I have lessons in music, mathematics, Danish, English etc. I really love to go to school every day because of this nice atmosphere in the class. Twice a week I go to work at the local supermarket, we all have to earn some J… Last year the teachers told us that we were going to Millau, France. Of course I got very happy! I’ve never been there, and that is one reason why I got so happy, but after all I am half French! I am looking very much forward to going to Millau to speak and hear some French, and of course to work with you. I find it exciting that we are going to stay with one of your families for almost a week, as one of you will come and stay with my family for a week. We are going to have lots of fun! During the week in Millau, I hope to get some new friends of course, but also progress together with people from another country in the same directions. The subject itself doesn’t matter to me, but the teamwork with you is all I care about, and is a major thing to look forward to, in my opinion. The teachers say that we will soon get all of your email addresses, and I think it would be nice to exchange messages and funny stories with you before we take off for France.
