A portrait of me
Hello French students! My name is Mie, and I am seventeen(17) years old and come from a beautiful country called Denmark. I live in a small village outside Vordingborg called Kastrup, and I have lived here for about six months now. I lived in a small village called Mern before I moved to Kastrup. I live here with my parents, and all my pets(four of them to be correct). I have two dogs and two guinea pigs. I have siblings, and I have four of them, two big brothers and two big sisters. Their names are Anne, Jesper, Malene and Lars.
In my everyday life, I love to paint, play with my pets, and read. I have a job, and I work on Mondays and Saturdays, in Fog Supermarket in Præstø. It’s hard sometimes, but it is good money. In my school, my favorite subject is French, because I just think it is a different kind of language than Danish. And I hate biology, because I don’t see what we need it for. I am one out of eleven girls who have chosen the French line, instead of the music line. But in my class there are 29 students, the other 18 students have music as a subject. I love music, but I don’t have an ear for it. I’m better at languages, and I love speaking French and also English, but I don’t speak fluent French. I have been to France once before. It was last summer I visited my sister, who by the way lives in Paris.
I am looking forward to seeing you, and maybe teaching you some Danish.
