Salut!

My name is Geer Rift. I am an 18 year old boy who lives at home with my extraordinarily old parents. I was schooled at home ever since birth and at the age of 16, I entered High School. Now you might think something along the lines as: “man! He’s one strange kiddo. Being named Geer Rift and having been home schooled and all!” and you’re right. But it’s my parents’ fault. I’m telling you, they’re messed up! – But I love them.

A regular day of mine usually consists of partying, doing various tasks on my computer such as homework assignments, photo editing or defeating that really mean guy in

“Final Fantasy VIII”.
Although I’m easily attracted to any monitor with moving pixels, I’m also fond of the great outdoors and a variety of sports and exercises (with football as an exception! Sorry). I’m really into martial arts and became very fascinated by Capoeira about half a year ago. Ever since then I have been taking Capoeira lessons and I really like it so far. Other than that, snowboarding and badminton are also sports I have taken a liking to.

I like a lot of different cultures. Ever since Japanese cartoons and movies were starting to show up in the western world, I have been interested in Asian culture in general. But other cultures like French, Italian and Spanish have also influenced me… in connection with food.

My chosen language is Spanish, but I have had some French lessons before, though probably not enough to engage in a conversation, although I’m willing to learn!

I live in the town of Stege, on an island called Moen that is located two hundred meters off the South-Eastern coast of Zealand. I have lived there for 5-6 years with my parents and my brother, although he moved away to Copenhagen some time ago, in order to study at the university.

I usually wake up at six in the morning, spend an hour of preparation for school and then get on the bus at 7:10. It’s a 45 minute drive to the High School, which is located in Vordingborg. I then attend about 4-6 classes of mind molding, finish and take the bus home at around three in the afternoon.

I’m very open-minded when it comes to trying out new things. I’m keen on debating political views and I’m not easily offended.

I’m looking forward to my trip to France and I hope you will look forward to my visit.

                                      Yours to accompany:
