Welcome to me! My name is Adishakti, but people mostly just call me Adi! I am 16 years old, but I will be 17 when we meet in France. I live with my mother in Vordingborg, but I have two elder siblings, who both moved out. My father lives in Barcelona, so I guess it is lucky that I like traveling. I go to Spain on any occasion I have, for instance I will be going to Spain this fall, after our visit to you in France. I don’t have any pets, passionate interests, abnormalities or other rousing stuff, but being a student in 2.m at Vordingborg Gymnasium is enough excitement for me at the moment. I spend most of my time with my boyfriend Morten, school and singing. I much enjoy singing, and I sing in a band here in Vordingborg. Every year, there is a “mini festival” at our Gymnasium called V.U.M.F., which stands for Vordingborg Youth Music Festival. All the amateur youth bands from Vordingborg and the surrounding country can come there, and perform on semi professional stages, sing through microphones, make publicity, etc. I really look forward to meeting everybody, the students, the teachers and not at all least: my host family. The teachers here at Vordingborg Gymnasium have not yet been able to tell us who we will be staying with, or how to get in contact, but I hope that there is still time. As there is one disadvantage of having me in your home; I am a vegetarian! So if any of you are also vegetarians that would make a perfect match. But if not, I hope to find a family who would not mind making a few changes for just one week. J |
