1c. Toil, while I'm away!
Unfortunately I can't be with you this Monday morning. Instead you'll have to work on your own. The assignment is the following:

In our text the author mentions 4 British writers. You form 8 groups - 2 groups deal with one writer.  One of these groups prepares a short biography of the writer, the other a short outline of his works/literature.


You can either use the library - or you can use the World Wide Web. In the location/adresse window write :   inet.uni-c.dk/~b019/forfatt.htm + Enter.
(You get the tilde (~) by holdning Alt Gr down while pressing ¨ once + a space.)

Group 1 Anne, Kristina,Mathilde: Present a short biography of   Charles Dickens . If you click on the name you'll find the necessary information.

Group 2 Allan J, Martin, Lars:  Present a short outline of Dickens' works. You can use the same link as above. Or click  here , where you'll find a lot of links.

Group 3 Janne S, Sacha, Trine: Present a short biography of  David Herbert Lawrence .

Group 4 Maria, Allan B., Jacob: Present a short outline of David Herbert Lawrence's  works.

Group 5 Louise, Belinda, Janne J: Present a short biography of  Thomas Hardy .

You are not supposed to write a very detailed answer to the questions. The important thing is that we get a precise impression of who the writer is and what he wrote. On Wednesday each group will present their work. Each group is supposed to talk for about 4-7 min.
