My students will be
VERY thrilled to read the critiques from your students. They will reply
ASAP (as soon as possible) we have a shortened class week. I will not meet
with them on Mon, Tuesday they are off..we have teacher in-service and
Wed is a 1/2 day, Thursday I attend a workshop to plan our new high school,
so I will finally see them at the end of the week!
I think this DPS collaboration is good. On
a sad note, one of our Freshman committed suicide several weeks after we
watched the movie, but there is no connection.
He was in 9th grade, and my kids are 11 and 12th graders. But, I teach
9th graders, too. There was much talk about the father pushing the son
to do things he didn't want to do, and talk of hazing from the football
team.

Sorry to hear about your student. Unfortunately it is not all that unusual in this country either. But tragic it is.
I am glad you like the new layout of our site. I'm still experimenting and learning - but I must say that I don't find it easy in any way.
We're also getting increasingly thrilled by the project - actually we had a very very busy Friday, but managed to get about 2/3 of our replies into cyberspace.
One Technical note: If I receive a file in html I take it that I can publish it on our site?
By the way: I hope that I'll find the time to get the "discussion forum" up and running, but the next week will also be a busy one for me.
When ever I get your site's URL I'll add it to our own. - And in the
future I hope that our 'kids' will communicate on their own.
